At the end of March 2007 Vladimir was invited to do a series of shows in the midwest. She visited the Madison Center for Cultural and Creative Arts, the University of Milwaukee, and Gene Siskel Film Center in Chicago.

While there she also visited the amazing Milwaukee Public Museum and found wonderful taxidermied animal dioramas and an insect museum. She also visited Chicago's awe-inspiring and overwhelming Field Musuem, however she has no photos to show from that because they were taken with her Holga and she made the mistake of twice letting that film ride in the belly of an airplane resulting in four rolls of indistinguishable ghostly white frames.
